The electrofusion fittings must be buried below the frost line. It is crucial that the pipes not be submerged in water during installation and welding.
In harsh environments with significant day-night temperature differences, timely use of stabilizers and other methods to secure the pipes is necessary to prevent thermal expansion and contraction from affecting the final weld quality. Additionally, in extremely low temperatures, insulation measures must be implemented to prevent unnecessary losses.
Finally, the pipes must not be moved arbitrarily during the cooling process.
