There are many key points to consider when installing large-diameter electrofusion sleeves. Before installation, a rigorous inspection of the sleeve and pipe is necessary, checking for surface damage, cracks, deformation, and other defects to ensure quality meets requirements. Accurately measure the outer diameter of the pipe and the inner diameter of the sleeve to ensure dimensional matching and compliance with tolerances, avoiding connection issues caused by size discrepancies.

Clean the connection area between the pipe and sleeve, removing oil, dust, oxide layers, and other impurities. Use sandpaper and cleaning agents to ensure a clean and smooth connection surface. During installation, strictly follow the operating procedures for electrofusion connection, using a dedicated electrofusion welding machine and setting appropriate welding parameters such as voltage, current, and welding time according to the sleeve specifications and requirements. Ensure correct alignment of the pipe and sleeve connection areas. When inserting the pipe, pay attention to direction and force, inserting slowly until the marked depth, keeping the pipe perpendicular during insertion to avoid twisting or tilting. When connecting the electrofusion welding machine, operate according to the machine's operating procedures to ensure a correct and secure connection. Maintain stability during welding, avoiding external interference to ensure weld quality. After welding, allow sufficient time for the welded area to cool and solidify naturally. Do not move or apply external force during this period.

After installation, conduct a comprehensive inspection to check that the sleeve is securely installed, the pipe position is correct, and the connections are well-sealed. A pressure test can be performed to check for leaks. If any problems are found, adjust and address them promptly to ensure the safe operation of the piping system. Furthermore, during installation, strictly adhere to relevant safety regulations and operating procedures. For example, prevent electric shock when using an electrofusion welding machine, and pay attention to the pressure range during pressure testing to avoid overpressure damage to the piping system.
